You see; there can never be enough fun, nothing on earth is designed to give lasting pleasure.
To seek pleasure as an end in its self is to lead a life of self destruction. True happiness cannot come from the volume of fun we have, at best what can be gotten is joy and short term ecstasy.
However, there are things that the human will engage in and find a type of fulfilment and satisfaction that leads to a lasting joy and happiness. But if it is to satisfy the orgies of the taste, sight, smell, or feelings, or that which is material; then we can never get enough of it- insatiability is in our nature somehow. There will always be MORE, and the more we gravitate towards MORE, the less we feel enough pleasure or fun, and so the more we keep searching for MORE. The sad news is that we will not only not get enough; we will also never get to be content or even be grateful enough to count our blessings. Such a person would live a life of trying to sustain competition, he/she would live in comparison and will be ungrateful and never satisfied; depression will be his/her lot at some point, sooner strive will also set in.
Until he/she comes to the realisation of the emptiness in the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS with the sole intent of satisfying the the hunger of sight, taste, smell, feel, or hormones; he will forever be in search of what does not exist as far as our world is concerned- a lasting pleasure.
